Ghana has once again put up another deadline for its SIM Re-registration exercise.

The Minister of Communication stated that 31st October would be the new deadline for everyone in Ghana to register their SIM cards with their Ghana Cards.

This would be the 3rd time that SIM Re-registration deadline has been pushed back. The initial date was set to the end of March 2022. But logistical challenges with many people unable to get their Ghana Cards resulted in pushbacks of deadlines.

So will this new deadline stick? Or should we expect another deadline for Ghana’s SIM re-registration?
