LemFi Becomes Latest Remittance Company to Stop Operations in Ghana

LemFi, a remittance startup platform, has suspended its remittance services to Ghana.

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) recently announced that remittance companies including Wis and Zeepay had violated its rules and were therefore suspended from operating in the country. Wise put out an official statement suspending its services.

This week, LemFi also announced that it was suspending its services as well.

Other companies including XOOM, LemFi, TransferGo, Sendvalu, Boss Revolution, BTC-Aza Finance, and Supersonicz were also suspended by BOG.
