GSMA Report Indicates Low Adoption and Usage Of Ghana E-Government Services Amongst Women

GSMA, a global organisation unifying the mobile ecosystem, has put out a report on Ghana’s e-government service usage in Ghana.

The report found that Ghanaian women are still less likely than men to own internet-enabled devices, use the internet, access government e-services, or make digital payments.

The report concluded that the gender gap poses a challenge to Ghana’s digital inclusion goals.
